Mr Mahesh Sivaswamy, Founder and Chairman, relocated to Singapore in July 1999, with a vision to establish Transworld Group Singapore (TGS) as a prominent Shipping House of high repute in Asia with its base in Singapore.
Mr Mahesh gained extensive experience in various fields of shipping, logistics & international trading, while working at his father’s office, early in his career, in India. Late Mr R Sivaswamy founded his shipping business in India and Middle East in the late 70s.
Mr Mahesh's favourite quote of his father's was ‘Action without delay is the secret of my success’. He emulated this nugget of wisdom in all aspects of his life and conscientiously followed his father's example of hard work, integrity, entrepreneurial spirit and tremendous foresight.
Under Mr Mahesh’s able leadership, Transworld Group Singapore moved from strength to strength to become one of Asia's fastest growing shipping & logistics companies.
Today, Transworld Group Singapore is an eclectic empire of diverse companies in various scopes of shipping that run independently yet share the same synergy.
The group operates ten verticals that provide a comprehensive network of services including Ship Owning, Ship Management, Feeder Services, Liner Shipping, Logistics & Agency Representation of major shipping lines, Inland Terminals and Wellness Services to Seafarers.
